Natsumatsuri

It's done. I've only been working on this since Winter Break. Yeah, I'm not joking.

Anyways, for those of you wondering, this is Natsume and Nyanko from the manga/anime series Natsume Yuujinchou. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes Spirited Away, or anyone looking for a good comedy/feel-good anime. It makes me smile every time.

Partly inspired by this persona that I stuck on my Firefox as I was rewatching the series. I really liked all the vibrant colors, so I wanted to put the two together. And viola! This was the end result.

This is the first picture that completely done in Photoshop - sketch, lineart, colors, and all. I also made all my own textures, except for the kimono patterns, which I jut Googled. :3 The title means "summer festival," and is a pun on Natsume's name (which means "summer").
